Overview
Sexual health and relationships are key parts of young people's lives. Do you have the confidence and knowledge to support young people?
Sexual health and relationships are key parts of young peoples lives. At Gloucestershire Youth Support Team we believe that all practitioners should have the confidence to discuss these issues with young people and have the knowledge to support them and be able to sign post to other services that offer specialist support.
Relationship and Sex Education Training (ReSET) is available to all professionals working with young people and their families in Gloucestershire and offers ideas and information of how to explore issues of relationships and sex education with young people. it is divided into two levels:
Alongside Level 1 ReSET training, we offer Level 2 half day workshops.
Teenage Pregnancy and Young Parents, explores:
- Issues that relate to teenage pregnancy
- Enables practitioners to develop the confidence and skills in working with young people who are pregnant or young parents
- Provides knowledge of existing local and national support services
- Outlines current financial support for young parents
All practitioners are advised to complete Level 1 ReSET before completing any of the Level 2 modules which are optional to attend.
