About
Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS) is a county-wide service designed to reduce the level of domestic abuse and improve the safety of victims and their families. They operate in all districts offering a variety of support programmes for women and men over 16 years old who are experiencing domestic abuse.
Services
FREE Training for Professionals
Free Domestic Abuse Training for Professionals. GDASS provides a range of learning opportunities for professionals at different levels of knowledge and experience:

Entry Level: Introduction to Domestic Abuse Awareness (online, 1.5 hours) -A basic introduction to domestic abuse, local services, and individuals' roles within Gloucestershire's coordinated response.

Level 1: Domestic Abuse Basic Awareness Training (online, 2.5 hours) -Designed to help professionals recognise signs of abuse, respond safely, and understand Gloucestershire's Coordinated Community Response.

Level 2: Enhanced Domestic Abuse (in-person) -Provides enhanced awareness of domestic abuse, trauma, and risk, helping practitioners respond confidently and effectively.

Level 2: Domestic Abuse & Risk (including DASH) (in-person) - Focuses on risk assessment, MARAC processes, safeguarding, and reducing the risk of serious harm.
