About Us

Hollie Gazzard Trust

The Hollie Gazzard Trust was created following the murder of 20-year-old Hollie Gazzard in 2014 in Gloucester by an ex-partner.

Our Vision:

That no other families and communities suffer the devastating consequences of abusive relationships and everyone is empowered to recognise the warning signs so we can keep each other safe and prevent serious harm.

Our mission:

To prevent future harm by educating young people about healthy relationships and working with employers and organisations to create safe work environments. By protecting people now through Hollie Guard safety app which provides users with immediate help and better access to justice by enabling them to securely log evidence of repeat high risk offences like domestic abuse and stalking.

New for 2025:

Offering Healthy Relationships Education Sessions Across Gloucestershire

Our team features trained teachers with extensive experience in delivering healthy relationships education.  We're also subject matter experts on domestic abuse and stalking.  As teachers, we understand the challenges around delivering sessions about healthy relationships in schools. We're passionate about working with school communities throughout Gloucestershire to provide student focused high quality specialist sessions on a range of 'healthy relationships' topics. We're working with our partners in GHLL to make sure every school has access to what we offer. To find out more email training@holliegazzard.org.

Campaigns:

We'll be highlighting some of the excellent work being carried out in schools, colleges and universities across Gloucestershire in campaigns on social and broadcast media. We're passionate about getting key messages about the need for healthy relationships education out to our young people, to parents, schools and the wider community.

Reviews of our healthy relationships education:

“The talk was fantastic—insightful, local, and real.”

From Students at Winchcombe High:

“It was brilliant—so interesting and sad to hear Hollie’s story, but really useful.”
“I wish it could have gone on longer so we could hear more about the app.”
“It was really good!”

From Hartpury University Students:

“Very interesting and beneficial strategies to help reduce sexual harassment.”
“I now have a better understanding of how to act in different situations.”
“It brought out situations that, as men, we wouldn’t even consider could make others uncomfortable.”

From April at SGS Forest High School:

“The sessions were incredibly impactful... It’s truly inspiring that Hollie’s family has established this Trust to create positive change. The message was powerful, especially the bystander element. Thank you for sharing such an important message.”
