About Us

YGAM - The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust

About

YGAM is an award-winning charity with a mission to prevent children and young people from experiencing gaming and gambling harms through awareness raising, education and research. Through a portfolio of evidence-based programmes, we develop and deliver training and resources for a range of groups who have influence over children and young people.

Educators

YGAM produce resources which are accessible to teachers and youth facing professionals who have completed City & Guilds Assured training with YGAM.

Educators can book to attend a workshop here or contact the training team: training@ygam.org

Folowing the training, educators will be able to access a range of resources including:
  • Teaching materials mapped to curriculum from KS2 - KS5/Post 16

  • Youth work materials

  • Group activities

  • 1-1 resources and activities

Student Hub

The YGAM Student Hub is for students, including those attending university. The page can help individuals to find out more about gambling, and the support that's available. The Student Hub also provides information for Student Union's and University Staff.

Parents and Carers

YGAM offers free workshops for parents and foster carers covering the topics of gaming and gambling with the aim of preventing future harms.
